Tony Bennett was featured in an episode of Nick Jr.’s Wallykazam for the holiday special. I animation directed a team of 3 animators to create custom character animation around plate footage of Tony Bennett. One interesting challenge is the show as a distinct look, we worked against this and developed a new look to better integrate the characters into the scenes. We also had to re-render and lip-synch several shots before the custom footage. My main contributions were boarding the shot, directing the animation and compositing the final treatment. This was composite in After Effects and animated in Maya.
